Sunquest updates blood-banking software
Sunquest Information Systems has announced the general release of Sunquest Laboratory, version 8.0. The FDA-cleared software is designed to make blood banking administration easier by improving integration with enterprise EHRs, blood unit tracking, and emergency release capabilities that enable blood banking administration in widespread trauma situations.
Sunquest Lab 8.0 is “the most intuitive and elegant laboratory and blood bank application in the world,” company president Matthew Hawkins said in a statement.
The software aims to offer a faster payback period for laboratories, with a lower total cost of ownership, and reduce turnaround times. Sunquest Laboratory 8.0 will be featured at the Sunquest User Group Conference in July in Tucson, Ariz. More information about the product release is available by email.
